Kicking-off its return to Baselworld, the Swiss Haute Horlogerie Manufacture Girard-Perregaux was proud to honor Susan and David Rockefeller for their philanthropic commitment to saving the environment and protecting what is precious in an invitation only event.

The evening featured a special screening of their latest documentary, Mission of Mermaids.  This 15-minute call to action explores the issues of ocean acidification, overfishing and pollution and advocates for the need for ocean protection and environment preservation, all seen through the eyes of the mythical mermaid.

Girard-Perregaux presented among its collections and latest creations, the Sea Hawk ‘Mission of Mermaids’ designed in collaboration with Susan Rockefeller and named in honor of this incredible film. The green and blue embellishments on the dial of this limited edition dive watch are complemented by the carving of a mermaid on the case back.
